I just weighed in downstairs. My rate of loss has slowed down because I’ve been snacking more and eating like crap and avoiding the treadmill more often, but I’m still losing. Today’s weight is 299. This is the first time since 1995 that I’m under 300 pounds. THAT makes my mood improve quite a bit. I also haven’t had a cigarette in 32 days.
I still plan on snuggling the crap out of Strutter, though. 🙂

  1. Snuggling the crap out of Strutter? lol. That sounds like some violent snuggling.
Congrats on getting under 300. That’s a big milestone. Sounds like you need to get back on the diet/exercise track, though. Of course, it was just Super Bowl Sunday, which is a 6500 calorie day for me. I smoked so many cigarettes this past weekend I felt like ass. After 32 days, you’ve pretty much kicked the addictive side of things, so that’s good.

  2. Stuck! You are rocking out!!! You should be very proud of yourself. Keep it up! Don’t beat yourself up too much about having a setback day. Everyone has those. I have added a new mantra to my list of diet mantras: progress, not perfection. you’re only human. what is important is that you are making a lifestyle change.
dang, just the non-smoking alone is impressive. i am cheering you on!!

  3. I am so proud of you Stuck! Keep up the great work! And don’t think of anything as a set back, you work hard everyday so enjoy a treat every now and then! Also congrats on the smoke free days! We miss you!!!!
